Brady to camp!

Our big guy was off to Lamoine Christian Camp on Monday the 5th and will stay for three nights.  Madison is gone as well.  She stayed at my aunt's house after the 4th of July gathering and will be home on Thursday.  So Blake is the only child home for a few days.  He is doing ok, but he really misses his big brother and sister.  Justin and I realized that other than 4/5 days in Moscow this is the first time in his life he has been in a place without other children around.

Brady was sweet enough to cooperate with our picture taking.  Of course I think it helped that I told him the sooner we got our photos the sooner the moms would leave.  :o)

Alexis and Madison were our cheerleaders for the volleyball game.  They thought they should make a pyramid.

Then the pyramid got bigger with the addition of Brady, Dalton, and Trevor!

Fun City 2010

There is a place about 45 minutes from us called Fun City.  There is a water park there as well as a number of other fun things.  There were three families that stayed the night and another family that came over during the day for 2 days.  We had a blast!

The lazy river was fun too.  It was fun to see all of the kids play together so nicely!

We all ate dinner on the last night at a Japanese teppanyaki restaurant. 

 Brady tried his best to crack an egg just like the chef.

After dinner there was go-cart racing and laser tag!

They were so exhausted by the end of the two days!

Misc

Madison has been on a tooth-loosing streak!

For Father's Day the kids made chocolate covered strawberries and a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting for the chocolate-loving Grandpa!

Justin and Madison went shopping and came back with this adorable outfit.

Brady's Little League baseball team beat an undefeated team in the championship.  They were all so excited to be the League champions!

Blake was invited to his friend, Jackson's, 4th birthday party.  This is the first non-relative birthday party he has been able to go to.  It was a pirate theme and he, Brady, and Madison had a great time on the slip and slide!

Underwood Family Reunion 2010

This year my mom and dad planned the Underwood Family reunion.  Justin and I hosted the reunion at our house.  There was a lot of fun had by everyone and below are some highlights.

Some of the kids in the swimming pool.  They spent lots of time in the pool - even when their lips were purple.

We set up tents for the kids and the adults (that were brave) to sleep out in the back yard.

Our dog, Annie, decided she needed to get away from the crowd by getting in Madison's tent.

Friday night we set up an outdoor movie for the kids.  My grandma (the kids' great grandma) set up concessions for them.

My mom brought lots of things to do games called Minute to Win It.  You do a task and try to complete it in one minute.  Both the adults and the kids loved it.  Here is one where you had to get the ping pong balls out of the kleenex box without using your hands in any way.

For this game, you had one minute to get the coin out of foot of these hose without using anything but your hands - which couldn't touch together.

Here is one where you have to use your mouth to get the paper bags - which get progressivly smaller - from the floor to the table.

This one you have 3 M & Ms on pencil and you have to get them up to your mouth to eat them without dropping them.

On Saturday night we had a dance session in the garage.  It was hilarious.  Here is Madison and her grandpa challenging one another.
