4 Months Ago – 1 Week Away

Dear Blake,
Privet! 4 months ago today we met each other for the first time. You won us over with that toothy grin of yours! We are now preparing to come back and be reunited with you exactly one week from today. We are so excited to wrap our arms around you again and reassure you that everything is going to be ok. There are many people here who are anxiously awaiting your arrival, but none more than your big brother Brady and your big sister Madison! In Brady’s nighttime prayers this week he has been telling God how excited he is to know that you are just about home. He said “I am so excited I can’t even find words to explain it!” Madison is also so excited. She has a sparkly bouncy ball that she says is her genie ball. She keeps saying “Poof! I just made Blake show up right next to me!” She is too funny!

Please know how much we love you. God has made this journey possible all on His timing. We will all have questions in the future about what brought each of us to this particular point in our lives. But one question we will never have is whether or not this was truly meant to be. It is apparent that this is exactly the path that we have all been destined to take in life. We are so blessed!!

In one week you will get to Oye! at PaPa’s crunchy hair, eat Fruit Loops, sit in MaMa’s lap and read our flap book, and show us all of your newest tricks. We can’t wait!
